Named for its warm gold-hued gilt frames, this room is the largest of the four, replete with carefully chosen heritage fabric such as Colefax and Fowler over the bed and panoramic views of the parkland from the huge windows. Whether writing a letter from the antique writing desk, curled up with a book on the chaise longue or taking a long soak in the bath, it’s the perfect quiet escape.

The four elegant guest rooms at Clonalis House guest house each have their own charm and personality. Offering Luxury Accommodation they have divinely comfy beds, sink-into-me chairs, well stocked with books and magazines they are the perfect place to kick off shoes, stretch out and unwind.

You’re lucky the location is so lovely, otherwise you might linger too long in the supremely comfortable rooms.

There are no TV’s in the rooms here, which is in keeping with the beautiful peace and quiet of the estate.

The Gold Room has a beautiful spacious ensuite bathroom with a bath-shower.

Rate includes breakfast and VAT. Welcome reception in the library of tea/coffee between 3.30pm -4.30pm. Credit card details are required at the time of booking to guarantee reservation. A deposit or advance payment may be requested for larger groups or extended stays.

Dinner is available for residents only and is served every day apart from Sunday. Dinner is a set menu. We advise booking dinner at least 48-hours in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We hope you don’t have to but in the event you must cancel your booking within two weeks of your arrival date, we will charge the full accommodation costs. Please also note for parties containing 3 rooms or more or staying for 3 days or more, longer cancellation terms and booking terms shall apply.
We will do our utmost to resell the room for that period and please note, the cancellation will only apply if we are unable to resell the room. Please check your travel insurance provides adequate cover.
There will be no charge if bookings cannot go ahead due to government restrictions.

As we are not a hotel we do not have a night porter, we also do not provide keys for entry into the house please let us know in advance so we can try and accommodate you as much as possible. Latest check in is 11.30pm.
