OUR HOME – CLONALIS HOUSE
The O’Conor family have been living on the Clonalis Estate since the 17th century but have lived in the area for over 1,500 years.
A living heritage!
On a personal guided tour, visitors will travel through 1,500 years of Irish history and can experience a rich hertiage with correspondence, historic documents such as the last known recorded verdict of brehon law, heirlooms, object d’art, the harp of Turlough O’Carolan, the inauguration stone of the O’Conor Kings and family portraits which all play an integral part in the telling of the O’Conor family’s story.
Tour of Clonalis are Monday – Saturday until 31st August.
